July 18, 2008 in our home St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University appeared a group, that represents international student organisation BEST (Board of European Students of Technology). Polytechnical University can be proud of the fact it became the only university in St. Petersburg , representing this organization, along with another 86 universities across Europe.
The aim of the LBG St.Petersburg in SPBSTU is to give students opportunity to participate in free short-term educational BEST courses in Europe, Local Engineering Competitions and job fairs. Moreover, active members of our group have the unique opportunity of gaining organisation skills, both at university and international levels.
From the very beginning of the way to our successful development we've been receiving help from our tutor, LBG Tallin, which is the only Estonian BEST-group and is considered as one of the strongest groups in the organisation.
Undegraduate years is one of the most exciting periods of human life, and everybody tries to spend it as much interesting as possible to “have something to remember”.
We, “besties”, choose bright and challenging way! We like to set high goals and achieve them, making errors, learning, gaining experience and getting wiser. BEST for us is an priceless “school of life”. Woking in group we gain hands-on experience in the sphere of project management, develop leadership qualities, get excellent language practise, expand our social circle – in our university and also throughout Europe!
Each interested student of our university can take part in our team's life and in organization of BEST-events! We always welcome fresh ideas and members! If you are active and open-minded, join us - we are what you need! We are waiting for you!
